China GDP and nominal GDP growth by province

The top 4 provinces in China in terms of nominal GDP were Guangdong (USD 819 billion, US$1=RMB6.5), followed by Jiangsu (USD 756 billion), Shandong (USD 698 billion), and Zhejiang (USD 497 billion) in 2011. Shanghai was ranked  No. 11 with GDP of USD 295 billion and Beijing was ranked No. 13 with GDP of USD 250 billion in 2011.

The largest province in terms of GDP is Guangdong, which counted for 10.2% of China total GDP in 2011, GDP of top 10 ranked provinces / cities accounted for about 60.2% of China total GDP.

Although Jiangsu is the second largest province in terms of GDP, its GDP per capita is the highest province in 2011, which reached USD 9583, the other top 4 provinces are Zhejiang (USD 9115), Inner Mongolia (USD 8919), Guangdong (USD 7816) and Liaoning (USD 7809).
