Total FDI used by main countries or region

In 2011, the main contributors of FDI in China remained unchanged from previous years. Hong Kong continued to be China’s largest region investor, followed by Virgin Islands, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, United States, Cayman Islands, Taiwan, Samoa and Mauritius round out the top 10 investors in China. Hong Kong used USD 70 billion or 61% of total FDI used in 2011.
