A majority of the investments are in the range of
5-100 RMB million, while more than a quarter of the
investments in fixed assets are over 1 RMB billion,
another quarter is in the range of 100-500 RMB
million. This shows that majority of the investments
in urban area are on a large scale basis. This large
amount of investments in urban areas would bring
about tremendous improvements to the economy in the
next period. The proportion of the investments would
be expected to change in the next year due to the
current financial crisis. Investors are highly
likely not invest in such huge amounts till there
are signs of recovery.
