One of the largest proportion of foreign direct investments in China is
attributed to the Leasing and Business Services industry contributing 24%,
subsequently, followed by Wholesale and Retail Trades which constitutes 16%.
The largest portion is formed by numerous industries including Agriculture,
Forestry, Animal Husbandry and Fishery, Mining, Construction, Scientific
Research, Technical Service and Geologic Prospecting etc. summing to 27%. It’s
predicted that there would be an increase in the proportion of Hotel and
Catering Services as there is a growing demand for such services as China
continues to develop.
