In 2007, the main contributors of FDI in China remained unchanged from previous
years. Hong Kong continued to be China’s largest region investor, followed by
Virgin Islands, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, United States, Cayman Islands,
Samoa, Taiwan and Mauritius round out the top 10 investors in China. Hong Kong
used USD 28 billion or 37.1% of total FDI used in 2007.
