The Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) was established in 1967 as a private non profit organization with the aim to give more clout and status to the emerging local/ national business community. As a prime mover, it provides current information, consultation and communication services for members in regard to their individual needs, also giving seminars, management training programs.

JICCI counts among its 36,000 over members business companies, associations and entrepreneurs. JICCI also maintains an active international profile and has concluded international cooperation and friendship agreements with Business Partners in Istanbul, New South Wales, London, Cochi, Cordoba, Dubai, Ahmedabad, Rotterdam, Beijing.

PT Data Consult Inc.

PT DATA CONSULT INC. which is better known as DATA CONSULT, is national consulting firm serving national as well as international companies. The company was founded by Ir. Sulaeman Krisnandhi, M.Sc, who has been engaged in the same line of consulting service since 1969. He was the market research officer for the Australian Trade Commissioner in Jakarta for 5 years until 1974. Then he organized his own consulting firm which was later incorporated into a limited liability company named PT DATA CONSULT INC. The company has been serving companies in Europe, the USA, Asia and Australia since its incorporation.

DATA CONSULT has been selected by ITC/UNCTAD/GATT, Geneva as a consulting firm capable of exporting their services in a pilot project to enhance south to south and south to north trading. Under this program, DATA CONSULT has received technical assistant from ITC/UNCTAD/GATT to promote the company's services in Europe and the USA.

At present, DATA CONSULT is supported by 76 full time employees including 12 senior research officers, and 24 junior research officers in economic and engineering fields. In addition, the company is associated with 20 senior experts in different fields and disciplines. The company occupies its own office building at Jalan Kramat Raya No. 5-L, Jakarta Pusat as the head office, and since early 1995 it has also a second office at PULOMAS Jl. Pulomas Raya , Jakarta.
