Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry
The Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) is an
internationally renowned business organisation with a membership network
comprising 114 trade associations and some 4,000 corporate entities and
professionals. The SCCCI was officially established in 1906 to look after
the interests of the businesses and the welfare of the local Chinese
community.
SCCCI provides services to enable local enterprises to obtain useful and
timely information and assistance for their business and runs an
eBizcommunity for direct communication and product promotion among members.
It also serves as the Secretariat for the biennial World Chinese
Entrepreneurs Convention and runs an Internet-based World Chinese Business
Network (WCBN) for information exchange and business networking for
businessmen and entrepreneurs from all over the world.
International Enterprise (IE) Singapore
Formerly known as the Singapore Trade Development Board (TDB),
International Enterprise Singapore - or IE Singapore for short - is the lead
agency spearheading Singapore's efforts to develop its external economic
wing.
IE Singapore's mission is to help Singapore-based companies grow and
internationalise successfully. Its vision is to be an expert agency in
firm-level growth, market intelligence and internationalisation strategies.
IE provides market information, and assist enterprises in building up their
business capabilities and finding overseas partners.
At the same time, IE Singapore works to position Singapore as a base for
